The Powerless Witness
A dramatic courtroom-themed artwork
$5.00
In Acts 1:8, Jesus made a defining statement to His disciples: "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me..." These words were not optional, nor were they poetic. They were foundational to the mission of the Church. Power precedes witness. Without power, our witness becomes hollow and ineffective.
Yet today, much of the Church operates as if Jesus never said these words. We have chosen eloquence over anointing, programs over prayer, and intellectualism over intimacy with the Holy Spirit. We have introduced a version of the gospel that is void of supernatural power, and as a result, we have produced converts without transformation, congregations without fire, and sermons without the Spirit.
