Your Spiritual eyes opened?

From the beginning of time, mankind has lived with the awareness that there is more to life than what the naked eye can see. The material world is only a fraction of reality. The Bible declares plainly: “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). This statement does not mean that we should walk in blindness, but that there is another kind of sight higher than physical vision—spiritual eyes.

When Adam and Eve lived in Eden, they enjoyed unhindered fellowship with God. They saw Him walking in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8). Their eyes were not just physical; they perceived the glory, beauty, and purity of God. But when they fell into sin, a distortion happened. Their “eyes were opened”—but not to the glory of God. They awoke to shame, fear, and nakedness (Genesis 3:7). This was the first counterfeit “opening” of spiritual eyes by Satan. He promised illumination but delivered corruption.
