Territorial Spirits

There are unseen forces that rule over regions, cities, and even nations. Scripture speaks of “principalities and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). These are not vague metaphors; they are real entities that influence systems, corrupt culture, and enslave populations.

When we look at cities across America, we see patterns too deep to be explained by mere sociology or economics. Why does one city seem to be gripped by drug epidemics, while another is dominated by homelessness? Why does one region thrive with immorality and sex trafficking, while another suffers chronic cycles of poverty and violence? These are not random. Behind them stand territorial spirits — demonic powers assigned to keep whole cities bound.
