The Unjust Thrones

Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, looked at the world with a sober eye and confessed something troubling: those who deserve honor and power often don’t have it, while those who don’t deserve it often seize it. The fastest man may lose the race, the strongest army may fall in battle, the wisest counselor may go unheard, and the most skilled worker may die poor. Why? Because under the sun, power and influence are not always earned—they are often grabbed, stolen, or manipulated into the hands of the unrighteous.

We look around today and see the same. Presidents rise to power through rigged elections, CEOs climb ladders through corruption, and even in God’s house, pulpits are sometimes inherited like family property or seized like a crown of war.
